🛡️ 2. Spectator Code of Conduct

 

This Code of Conduct applies to all spectators, guests, and visitors entering the FLAIR Stadium premises (including surrounding areas under the Club’s control) on match days and during events. The goal is to ensure a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for everyone supporting the Rams.

 

2.1. Expected Behaviour

 

All spectators must:

  • Respect Others: Treat all other spectators, officials, players, coaches, and staff with courtesy and respect, regardless of team affiliation, race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or age.

  • Safety First: Adhere to all safety instructions, stadium announcements, and requests made by FLAIR Stadium staff, security personnel, and emergency services.

  • Maintain Order: Remain in designated spectator areas and do not enter the field of play, technical areas, or restricted zones without proper authorization.

 

2.2. Prohibited Behaviour (Zero Tolerance)

 

The following actions are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate ejection from the stadium and potential further sanctions, including banning orders and reporting to law enforcement:

  • Discriminatory Conduct: Any form of racist, homophobic, sexist, xenophobic, or other discriminatory chanting, gestures, or language.

  • Violence/Aggression: Any physical violence, threats, aggressive behaviour, or verbal abuse.

  • Pyrotechnics: Possession or use of flares, smoke bombs, fireworks, or any other pyrotechnic devices.

  • Missiles: Throwing of objects onto the pitch or towards other spectators.

  • Intoxication: Excessive intoxication or consumption of illegal substances.

  • Unauthorized Access: Entry to the stadium without a valid ticket or entering restricted areas.

 

2.3. Enforcement

 

FLAIR Stadium management reserves the right to refuse admission or eject any person whose conduct is deemed to breach this Code of Conduct. The stadium adheres to the rules set by the Rugby Football League (RFL).


 

🎟️ 3. Ticket Returns Policy

 

This policy governs the sale and refund of all tickets purchased for events held at FLAIR Stadium, including match day and season tickets.

ALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL. NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES WILL BE PERMITTED.

 

3.1. Standard Policy

 

  • Once a ticket has been purchased, no refunds will be offered, even if the ticket holder is unable to attend the event for any reason (e.g., illness, travel issues, change of mind).

  • No exchanges will be offered for tickets purchased for a different event, match, or seat location.

 

3.2. Match Postponement/Cancellation

 

  • Postponement: If a match is postponed to a future date, the original ticket will remain valid for the rearranged fixture. Refunds will not be offered for postponed matches.

  • Cancellation: In the rare event a match is permanently cancelled and is not re-scheduled, the Dewsbury Rams RLFC will determine and communicate the refund process, if any, for the face value of the ticket only (excluding any booking fees).

 

3.3. Ticket Holder Responsibility

 

It is the sole responsibility of the ticket purchaser to ensure they have purchased tickets for the correct event, date, time, and location prior to completing the transaction.

This policy explains how the Dewsbury Rams RLFC (referred to as “the Club,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, protects, and shares your personal data when you interact with us (e.g., through purchasing tickets, using our website, or subscribing to our newsletter).

Dewsbury Rams: Pitch Hire, Privacy & Cookie Policy

1. Pitch Hire & Cancellation Policy

By booking a pitch with Dewsbury Rams, you and your group agree to abide by our facility terms and conditions.

  • Cancellation by You: Reservations can be cancelled free of charge provided you give at least 72 hours’ notice prior to your booking. Cancellations made after this point, or failure to arrive, will result in the full charge being applied with no refund issued.
  • Cancellation by Us: We reserve the right to cancel or amend your booking at any time. In such cases, your booking payment will be fully refunded. However, we are not liable for any secondary costs, expenses, or losses arising from the cancellation.


2. Facility Code of Conduct (3G Pitch, MUGAs, and Main Pitch)

We have a strict code of conduct to ensure the safety of our players and to protect our neighbors—especially those on the adjacent Amberwood Chase Development—from unsocial or unnecessary behavior. Failure to adhere to these rules may result in immediate cancellation of your booking without refund.

Parking & Arrival

  • Use Designated Areas: You must park appropriately in the designated on-site car parks without causing a nuisance to pedestrians or other users.
  • Respect the Neighborhood: Under no circumstances should you use the adjacent housing estate for parking. If another event is taking place at the stadium, follow staff directions to the overflow parking areas.

Pitch Rules & Equipment

  • Footwear: Only appropriate 3G footwear (plastic/rubber moulded studs or astro-turf trainers) is permitted. No metal-tipped or metal studs allowed.
  • Prohibited Items: No glass bottles, cans, or smoking/vaping are permitted anywhere within the enclosed playing areas.
  • Litter: Use the on-site bins provided or take your litter home. Do not leave trash on the pitch or in the car park.

Respect & Behavior

  • Neighbors’ Property: Do not attempt to retrieve balls that land in the gardens of adjacent houses. You may politely ask the owners to return them, but they are under no obligation to do so. Be polite and respectful in all interactions with local residents.
  • Conduct on Site: Foul, abusive, or aggressive language will not be tolerated. Show respect to match officials, coaching staff, opposing players, and your own colleagues.
  • Compliance: You must comply with any reasonable requests from Dewsbury Rams staff regarding your booking or facility use. Please leave the pitch promptly and quietly at the end of your session.

Liability & Damages

  • Any damage caused to the facilities will be charged to the user/hirer responsible, and future bookings may be revoked.
  • Dewsbury Rams accepts no liability for any financial or personal losses incurred if a booking is forfeited due to non-compliance with this Code of Conduct or failure to pay hire fees.


3. Data & Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your personal data. This section explains how we collect and use information when you make a reservation, fill out forms on our site (http://shop.dewsburyrams.uk), or communicate with us.

How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

  • Process bookings, payments, cancellations, and refunds.
  • Manage your online account and booking history.

All information you provide is stored securely on servers based in the United Kingdom. We will retain your data only for as long as necessary to provide our services. If you have not made a booking with us for five years, your data will be reviewed and securely deleted (unless required for legitimate legal or tax purposes). We will stop using your data for any marketing purposes if you have been inactive for two years.
